It smelled a bit like spring, so I grabbed my camera and walked around Amsterdam West. I’ve been living in Amsterdam for ten years now, but I always discover something new in this city, even only a few hundred meters from my house!

  • As always, i love your keen eye even if it see’s the deep contrast of this out of place phallic symbol in picture #1 or the terrible apartment next to such a beautiful old home in #8 and last but not least the majestic wind mill fighting to catch wind among the misplaced buildings surrounding it…..
A good photographer takes pictures of beautiful things, a great photographer takes pictures of everything the eye see’s in everyday life!

    • Thanks Kevin, it’s funny how you see the water tower as a phallic symbol, while I pretty much saw the water tower as a water tower while taking the picture. I rather focused on finding the right spot to have the perfect reflection 😉
