Amsterdam never ceases to amaze me with its beauty. It is such a small city (considering my hometown, Budapest) and yet, it’s full of surprises. It is extremely versatile, old and modern, busy and quiet at the same time. There is a relatively hidden area in Westerdok which is a true gem of the city. Old sailing ships are parking there, right the opposite of modern buildings facing West. The light is perfect for photography on a sunny afternoon, like today and while I was discovering it, it’s quickly become one of my favourite spots of the city.
